PDFTool is a collection of free, browser-based PDF tools operated by HeyPN. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.
All processing happens on your own device, in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to us, and we claim no ownership or rights over any document you process with PDFTool. Whatever you create with these tools is entirely yours.
You are responsible for having the right to process the documents you work on — for example, don't remove passwords or redactions from documents you're not authorized to modify.
You can use PDFTool for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial. You agree not to:
PDFTool is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We work hard to make every tool reliable, but we can't guarantee the site will always be available, error-free, or that every output will be perfect for every edge-case PDF.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HeyPN and PDFTool are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages — including lost data, lost profits, or problems arising from use or inability to use the tools. Since the service is free and your files never leave your device, our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to the amount you paid us to use it: zero.
The site relies on a few third parties to function — our web host, Google Fonts, the cdnjs and jsDelivr CDNs, and Google Forms on the contact page. Their own terms and policies apply to their services.
We may add, change or remove tools over time, and we may update these terms — the "last updated" date above will always show when that happened. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Most terms pages are long because the service takes a lot from you — your data, your files, your rights. PDFTool takes none of those things, so there's very little to regulate. Free tools, your files stay on your device, don't break the site. That's genuinely most of it.
